Our Heavy-Duty wear plate Displays excellent abrasion resistance in a moderate impact environment. The typical hardness ranges from 55-60 HRC based on weld deposit thickness. The hairline surface cracks provide excellent bending and formability when required. The Chromium-rich formula makes Rhino-HD an excellent choice of material for almost any application. Standard thicknesses range from 3/8” to 1”.

RHINO-XD
XD is our eXtreme-Duty grade overlay plate for extremely abrasive environments in both dry and wet conditions. XD contains a higher concentration of primary carbides mixed with complex carbides. It is an excellent choice for those high abrasion applications. With increased performance over our HD grade plate, this plate provides a hardness of 61-65 HRC and comes in a standard thickness range from 3/8” to 1”.

For the most severe applications where more than 1/2” of overlay is desired, we have developed our Severe Duty wear plate. Our SD overlay offers a unique weld overlay thickness that is now much thicker than the base plate. Our proprietary alloy composition comes with multi-cladded abrasion surfaces of up to 2” thick. It offers the longest lifecycle of any CCO on the market. For the worst conditions, Rhino-SD is the answer. Increased lifecycles with fewer change-outs make the SD a proven winner.
